The Story Behind the Print - and the Designer Who Brought It to Life

I've been thinking about this design for a long time - longer than most people would guess. When I was young, I used to wrap bandanas around my Barbie dolls, loving the way the fabric draped and the versatility of the basic dimensions. About ten years ago, when I first started seriously exploring the idea of my own fashion line, that memory came back to me. I thought about the scale of that little bandana against the doll, and I wondered: what if it were full-sized? What if a person could wear that same idea?

I pulled together elements from different bandanas I loved, piecing together a vision, and then I went searching for the right designer to help make it real. I looked through many, many designers, each with their own strengths. But Carolina Diaz was, hands down, the right choice. Her grasp of scale and pattern - how a print moves and reads across a scarf - was exactly what this design needed.

Working with Carolina has been a genuine pleasure, and I'm looking forward to creating more designs with her in the future.
